Monday Prodrive Heritage Centre
What the tour includes:
Coffee and welcome in the Prodrive heritage centre where you can view race and rally cars from Prodrive’s 25 years in world motorsport. Rally car transmission and engine build and dynos - to see what it takes to make an £80,000 gearbox.
The workshops where we build the Subaru rally cars and the Aston Martin GT1, GT2, GT3, GT4 and the current Gulf liveried LMP1 sports cars and its V12 engines.
Our advanced manufacturing facilities where we fabricate and machine all the parts which go into our cars.
Opportunity to visit our new shop, to buy the merchandise we produce on behalf of Aston Martin Racing, McLaren F1, Williams F1 and the Subaru World Rally Team, as well as Prodrive performance wheels and parts and special items of memorabilia not available anywhere else.
Tuesday Coventry Motor Museum
See the cars and cycles on our roads a century ago.
Take cover in the blacked out streets of the Coventry Blitz. Rattle your bones with the earliest cycles and blow your mind with the force of the land speed record simulator. With thrills, nostalgia, inspiration and a little bit of education, our fantastic day out will take you on an exciting journey through history and the people who made it happen.
Wednesday Aston Martin
Aston Martin’s first ever purpose built factory in it's 90 year history.
Situated on the former RAF V-bomber airfield at Gaydon, Warwickshire, the new factory is part of a much bigger site also occupied by Jaguar,
Land Rover and the British Motor Heritage Centre.
Thursday Cotswold Motoring Museum & Toy Collection
Located in the picturesque village of Bourton-on-the-Water which makes a great day out or break in the Cotswolds, the Cotswold Motoring Museum is a truly fascinating journey through the 20th Century.
Overflowing with vintage and classic cars and caravans, precarious looking motorcycles, original enamel signs and an intriguing collection of motoring curiosities, it is a genuinely captivating experience for all the family.
The Museum boasts seven galleries packed with vehicles and memorabilia, with sounds and smells from the days of the blacksmith through to the era of heavy metal and glam rock.
Friday Racing day at Silverstone
The proposition is simple:
we provide a world famous circuit, the best instructors, fabulous hospitality and the keys to every car in the Silverstone garage.
Quite simply, the Silverstone Challenge is the ultimate driving event.
Your Day
Walk through the famous Brooklands Gates as you arrive at the exclusive BRDC Clubhouse, this will be your base for the day where you will dine on a full English breakfast and a 2 course lunch, during which you will have the chance to soak in the ambience of sporting greats past and present. Once you have been briefed on the challenges ahead, it’s time to take the keys to the Silverstone toy box and try out everything from the Formula Silverstone single seat race car to a 525bhp Audi R8 V10.
Itinerary
• 8.00 am Registration & breakfast in the BRDC Club House
• 9.00 am Take to the track for your first of ten driving experiences
• 12.45 pm Refuel, it’s time for lunch
• 1.30 pm The fun starts again
• 5.30 pm Awards ceremony
• 6.25 pm Depart for a well earned rest
